But the insured is being harassed for filing a FIR which is contrary to the terms and conditions of the policy issued by the Insurer. Moreover, filing a FIR is a toughest job for an insured.\u00a0 M\/s Reliance General Insurance Company has specified that in case of burglary claim FIR is to be filed<\/p>\n<p>If we raise the issue before IRDA, the Burglary policy, being non tariff, the respective insurer may revised the terms and condition of the product subject to approval of the IRDA. But Vehicle insurance is tariff business, only IRDA is empowered to modify the terms and conditions.<\/p>\n<p>All are requested to review the same and give your suggestions on the wordings \u201c Lodge a complaint to police\u201c or\u00a0 \u201cNotice to Police\u201d\u00a0 or \u201cIntimation to police\u201d, whether it amount to filing a FIR.
