{"id":334,"date":"2020-04-13T09:30:16","date_gmt":"2020-04-13T09:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sudhirkumarjain.com\/shop\/?p=334"},"modified":"2020-04-13T09:30:16","modified_gmt":"2020-04-13T09:30:16","slug":"insurance-issue-of-the-week-33","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sudhirkumarjain.com\/shop\/insurance-issue-of-the-week\/insurance-issue-of-the-week-33\/","title":{"rendered":"Insurance Issue of the Week &#8211; 33"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Claim Under Consequential Loss of Profit (CLOP) Policy <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In one of the claims under CLOP policy after restoration of Plant, the Surveyor repudiated the claim on the ground that \u201cInsured should have produced more in future to compensate the loss of production during Indemnity period\u201d as the Indemnity period is of short duration say 15 days.\u00a0 It was brought to the notice of the Surveyor there is no such condition in the policy but the Surveyor was adamant to repudiate the claim.
